Lady's Island Surveys
What are the important issues for Lady's Island?
With 2008 being an election year for positions ranging from our local coroner to President of the United States and many offices in between, the Lady’s Island Business and Professional Association is already hearing the question – “What issues are important to the voters of Lady’s Island and LIBPA?”. We each, as individuals, have personal issues, about which for a variety of reasons we feel strongly. There are national issues such as Iraq, taxes, the economy and health care but what are the issues, which impact directly on our community, that we would like to see addressed by our elected representatives? To try and determine what these issues of common concern are, the following survey is provided to allow you to express your personal opinion on the subject. The final results will be reported in the February issue of the LIBPA newsletter and on the LIBPA web site.

02-05-2008 13:59:15 - Mickey Fuller: Funding our infrastructure is important, but MOST OF ALL, GET RID OF THE ENTIRE DEPT. OF EDUCATION, let alone fix the "No Child Left Behind" act - that's an abomination
01-02-2008 15:02:02 - Mickey Fuller: On #2, I'd like to pick 3 - fix the system of school funding for #3. On #3 I'd like to also pick 3 - #3 help us fund our infrastructure. I feel that these 2 additions are equally as important as the others.
